An Integrated Watershed Management Plan, or' IWMP', is like a roadmap for your watershed team and other stakeholders. Integrated watershed planning and managemnet is defined as a process to promore the coordinated development and management of water, land and related resources on a watershed basis. Manitoba's Water Protection Act was proclaimed in January of 2006. This Act provides the basis for launching and financing the integrated watershed management planning initiative.
